An MBBS graduate from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, Dr. Sharma pursued MD in Forensic Medicine from Dr. SN Medical College, Jodhpur, and later completed his LL.B from Rajasthan University. This unique triad of degrees empowers him to interpret, defend, and translate clinical care into legal language with unmatched clarity.
He currently serves as Assistant Professor (Forensic Medicine) at Government Medical College, Kota, and formerly at SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He was instrumental in establishing Rajasthan’s first Virtual Courtroom Remote Point—a high-impact legal-medical interface between SMS Hospital and the Rajasthan High Court. As VC Coordinator, he has facilitated high-stakes court testimonies, medico-legal opinions, and digital case consultations across India.
Dr. Sharma has evaluated thousands of medico-legal cases, performed over 2,500 autopsies, and appeared as an expert witness in consumer courts and criminal trials throughout Rajasthan, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. He’s been the go-to medico-legal consultant for risk management companies, insurance firms, hospitals, and individual doctors facing litigation or blackmail.
Beyond courtrooms, he’s been a powerful presence in medical education, having mentored over 2,500 MBBS students and dozens of postgraduate trainees. As a tech-savvy educator, he modernized classroom systems using Google Classroom, VC platforms, and forensic digital tools, and also served as Assistant Nodal Officer for SMS Medical College’s IT initiatives.
Dr. Sharma is also the founder and face of the ‘Doctor in Law’ platform—a rapidly growing medico-legal content and consultancy brand that demystifies legal threats for doctors, especially surgeons and clinicians. Through YouTube, podcasts, AI-driven automation, and WhatsApp consultations, he helps doctors avoid litigation traps, respond to legal notices, and regain professional dignity.
Outside his medico-legal mission, he’s an artist at heart—with a deep love for dance, theatre, and public speaking, and has won accolades at state and national levels. His personality—dubbed “Buddy Boss” by students—is a blend of approachability, wit, and fierce advocacy.
